Ancak; “ever since” ve “since then” yapıları genellikle bir “transition” görevi gördükleri için bu iki yapının iki ayrı
“clause”u bağlarken beraber kullanıldığı tense “The Present Perfect” olacaktır. Aşağıdaki örnekleri inceleyelim:
➠ Henry became the manager a month ago and since then / ever since, he has changed a lot.

➠ Henry became the manager a month ago and he has changed a lot since (then) / ever since.

Bu durumda kullanılan diğer zaman zarfları da şunlardır:
up to now, up until now, thus far, so far
recently, lately

so far + this week / year / time / semester / term / summer
for / in / during / over the last/past two years
throughout history / the year, over the course of history

This is the best / worst / most exciting
