kullanılır.

Bu durumlarda “yet” ve “still” zarfları kullanılır.

➠ Cameron cannot come out with us because she hasn’t done her homework yet.
➠ Since Turkey still has not passed some of the essential laws, it is outside the EU.

Yukarıdaki iki cümle de olumsuz durumlardan bahsetmektedir.

F) Henüz tamamlanmış eylemleri ifade ederken kullanılır.
Bu durumlarda “just” ve “already” zarfları kullanılır.

➠ Cameron cannot come out with us because she hasn’t done her homework yet.
➠ AIDS has already started to impact adversely on our economies.

➠ The government has just allocated $300 million for medical treatment.
➠ I have just finished exercising. You know I’m trying to lose weight.
➠ My body has already started to shape up.

G) Anlatılan eylem veya durumla hala aynı zaman dilimi içindeysek kullanılır.

➠ I haven’t had a day off this month.

➠ Rumors about his relationship have filled the front pages of the tabloids this week.
➠ Medicine has advanced greatly in this century.

H) Present Perfect Tense’le aşağıdaki yapılar da çok sık kullanılır.
1. “all my life”, in his lifetime”

➠ I have taught Geography in a high school all my life.
➠ Bob has been a fisherman in his lifetime and lived in this hut alone.

2. “It’s five years since I last went to the cinema.” ya da “It has been five years since I have been
to the cinema.”

➠ It is / has been 50 years since the first satellite was / has been launched into the space.
